GANSO

Audit

The Aval GANSO audit is carried out through a systematic, independent, and documented process to gather evidence of compliance with the practices defined by the standard.

This process is conducted by an auditor at the farm applying for the Aval GANSO. In some cases, the audit may be accompanied by a technical expert who brings additional knowledge or experience to support the auditor during the process.

Based on the results of the audit, the farm(s) will achieve one of the three Aval GANSO Seal levels:

Motivated Seal: This is the basic level and indicates compliance with 50% or less of the evaluated practices in one or more pillars of the Aval GANSO. For this reason, the farm must undergo annual reassessment.
Committed Seal: This is an intermediate level and indicates compliance with 51% to 79% of the evaluated practices in all pillars of the Aval GANSO. Like the Motivated Seal, it also requires annual reassessment.
Responsible Seal: This is the advanced level and indicates compliance with 80% or more of the evaluated practices across all pillars of the Aval GANSO. Due to this high level of compliance, reassessment is required every two years.
