Each pillar brings together a set of 52 essential practices for the sustainable production of cattle, buffalo, and dairy farming.

Environment Pillar

 Focuses on applying environmental criteria aimed at protecting biodiversity, minimizing negative pressure on ecosystems, and mitigating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

People Pillar

Seeks to provide and maintain safe conditions, healthy environments, and secure spaces for workers and their families, under fair, dignified, and legal labor conditions.

Animal Pillar

Ensures that animals within the production system have access to proper nutrition, shelter, health care, and overall well-being.

Management Pillar

Aims to demonstrate the planning, execution, monitoring, and improvement of all aspects covered by the pillars and practices, along with traceability and progressive enhancement of business profitability.

 Demonstrates knowledge of product quality and safety, both on the hoof and post-slaughter.
